The geometric design of this smaller concrete necklace was inspired by one of Frank Lloyd Wright's most popular works: Saguaro Form And Cactus Flowers
One of four abstract drawings, for the 1927 monthly, Liberty Magazine, Wright interpreted the desert landscape. However, the editors deemed the works too "radical" and the covers were never published. Today you can see the design as a stained glass feature at Arizona's famous Biltmore Hotel lobby.
